PROGRAM FOR 4 DAY TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO MERZOUGA :
DAY 1: MARRAKECH -
Your private Morocco tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert starts today and we pick up from your hotel and crossing the Tizi n'Tichka Atlas pass. We will visit Berber village of Telouet ,we take a guided tour of the Kasbah of el Glaoui, former War Lord and Pasha of Marrakech. We continue to Ait Benhaddou ,to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a spectacular fortified village. After stop for lunch in Ait Benhaddou we continue to Ouarzazate and Dades valley where we stay overnight for dinner and accommodation in local riad (traditional Moroccan house).
DAY 2: Dades Gorges -
Our private Morocco tour continues after breakfast and we pass few Berber villages along the way to Tinjdad,and Erfoud, from where you will feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. We continue to Rissani and Merzouga desert , from where we ride camels to the sand dunes. We will spend this night in an equipped desert camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara desert. We will climb a high dune to watch the sunset. Traditional Berber dinner is served under the stars. We will spend the night in a nomad tents.
DAY 3: MERZOUGA -
After early wake up you will watch Sahara beautiful sunrise over the Merzouga dunes. Then we return by camels to the Merzouga village for breakfast. We start our trip back towards Ouarzazate passing Rissani , Nkob and passing Draa valley, longest in Morocco. We reach Ouarzazate where we stay for dinner and riad (traditional Moroccan house)/hotel accommodation.
DAY 4: OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH
Today we continue our Private Morocco tour, and after breakfast we make a visit of Kasbah Taourirte, beautiful kasbah in Ouarzazate. Then we will visit Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou , where we stay for lunch. We continue our trip crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco called Tizni Tichka pass at 2260 meters. It offers impressive views of valleys, mountains and many Berber villages nearby. Arrival in evening to Marrakech and end of tour.
