PROGRAM FOR DAY TRIPS FROM MARRAKECH TO THE ATLAS
Departure at 9h00 am from your hotel by 4×4 towards Lalla Takerkouste. The lake is located at the foot of the Atlas Mountains,a peaceful picnic and watersports area and then heading to the kik plateau where you have commanding views of mountains and lake. There are many Berbers villages and the sight of the snowy summits of the High Atlas Mountains during winter is amazing
After that we continue the mountain trip passing Asni village inside Imlil valley, continuing through traditional Berber villages built with local earth and stones till we reach Ourika valley an impressive gorge like mountain valley beautiful mountain till we reach the last village named Sitti Fatma where we have lunch in a restaurant close to the river. After you have a local guide to visit the beautiful cascades after returning to the 4×4 we come back to Ourika valley stopping in Tafza village to visit the traditional Berber house, with open fire oven and hamman before continuing our trip to Marrakech arriving back at 18h30.
