DAY 1: FES – IFRANE – AZROU – MIDELT - MERZOUGA

3 day desert tour from Fes to Merzouga starts today and we pick up from your hotel and departure for Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. Then we will head toward Azrou to see the monkeys in the cedar forest. We continue to Midelt, we will cross the pass of TIZI N TALGHAMT to reach Ziz valley. We continues to Erg Chebbi desert passing by Erfoud where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop ,then Rissani to visit local souk. After that you we continue to the dunes of Erg Chebbi, called also Merzouga dunes. We will ride camels to desert camp where we stay overnight in desert tents.

DAY 2: MERZOUGA DESERT

Today in the morning we continue our 3 day desert tour from Fes to Merzouga and we explore the dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will visit a Berber family , and listen to Gnawa music in village of Khamlia. Then we will visit some deserted mines, Berber nomads and oasis of palm trees. For lunch we will head back to Merzouga and then we ride camels to the desert. We will spend the night in desert camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara. We climb the high dune to watch the sunset over the dunes and we spend the night in desert nomad tents in the middle of the sand dunes.

DAY 3: MRZOUGA DESERT - FES

On the last day of our private Morocco tour we’ll drive towards Kalaat M'gouna passing the route of thousand Kasbahs. We’ll stop at Kalaat M'gouna, called “the rose city”, to purchase the rose-waters. We continue to Ouarzazatte,called “the Hollywood of Africa” and after lunch we continue to the famous Ait Benhaddou kasbah. It is the largest Kasbah in Morocco and the UNESCO historical site. We will drive towards Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass at 2260 meters over the High Atlas Mountains. Later afternoon we arrive to Marrakech, where the 3 day desert tour from Fes to Merzouga ends.
