PROGRAM FOR 14 DAY TOUR FROM CASABLANCA

DAY 1: CASABLANCA – RABAT – MEKNES

Your private Morocco tour from Casablanca starts today and we will pick up you from your hotel to vist the Hassan II Mosque before departing to Rabat. In Rabat you can visit to the Mechouar of the Royal Palace, the ruins of Chellah, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. After lunch we will depart to Meknes to arrive early evening. You can take dinner in the restaurant overlooking the square opposite the Bab Mansour gate. Your accommodation will be in a traditional riad (traditional Moroccan house) in the old medina.

DAY 2 : MEKNES - VOLUBILIS - FES

After breakfast we will take a tour of Meknes including El Hdim square, Bab El Mansour, the massive gate which is the entrance to the old city and the Jewish quarter, the Royal Granaries & the city rampart. We will then depart via Volubilis, the Roman ruins and Moulay Idriss, the holy town and an important place of pilgrimage where the founder of Morocco’s first dynasty is buried. We will continue onto Fes where we stay at a traditional riad (traditional Moroccan house).

DAY 3 - 4 : FES TOUR

Today our private Morocco tour from Casablanca continues and we will have a guided tour to discover the the medina and the famous Souks of Fes - its narrow cobbled streets are filled with ancient mosques and towering green-glazed minarets. You will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Fes. The tour will include a visit to the tannery and the ceramics cooperative to see the traditional Moroccan crafts. We stay in Fez overnight in local riad (traditional Moroccan house)/hotel.

DAY 5 FES - IFRANE - AZROU - MIDELT - MERZOUGA

After breakfast our private Morocco tour from Casablanca continues and we will depart for Merzouga through the Middle Atlas region. We will drive through Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland’ of Morocco and the cedar forests of Azrou where we can stop to hand feed the monkeys. We will continue to Midelt where we will have lunch. We will then follow the Ziz River through the valley and stop to see the Ziz Gorges on our way to Merzouga. Here we stay overnight in desert riad (traditional Moroccan house)/hotel. Dinner included.

DAY 6 MERZOUGA - KHAMLIA - RISSANI – ERG CHEBBI

Today we will explore the desert region of Erg Chebbi desert dunes. We will make a circuit of the desert dunes where you will have the opportunity to see the the Nomad's way of life and the amazing changing contrasts of the of the desert. We will visit the ‘black village’ of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians. We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the ancient capital of Rissani. In the afternoon we will ride the camels to see the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in the desert camp. We will have a traditional dinner, drink delicious mint tea, listen to traditional Berber music in the Sahara desert.

DAY 7 MERZOUGA DESERT

Today our private Morocco tour from Casablanca continues exploring most spectacular desert sand dunes in Morocco, located in the beautiful Merzouga desert. Listen Gnaoua spiritual music live show. Visit the nomads their tent and share some real moments with them, we will head on to see some natural fossilized animals on rocks, we will visit Rissani, the holy city of Rissani, a site where the ancestors of the Alaouite Dynasty are buried in the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Sherif, with it’s authentic souk - market and have a Berber pizza for lunch. Then we will have time to wander the desert dunes before sunset. Dinner is served, followed by traditional music show and the night in your own private nomadic tent, in a oasis in the middle of the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Dinner included.

DAY 8 MERZOUGA - Todgha Gorge - Dades Gorges

Today we continue our private Morocco tour from Casablanca and we will wake up early to see the spectacular sunrise over the dunes before making our way back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. We will cross the palm lined valleys of Tourog and Tinjdad to arrive to Todgha Gorge. We will take a walk in the Todgha Gorge and have lunch in a local restaurant before continuing to our accommodation in the Dades Gorges. Dinner included.

DAY 9 Dades Gorges - EL KELAA MAGONA - OUARZAZATE

After breakfast we will take a walk in the gorges and then take the off road track to see the nomad caves. We will continue via El Kelaa Magona, Valley of the Roses and the Skoura oasis to arrive in Ouarzazate. Here we may visit local movie studio and also Kasbah. We stay here overnight in local riad (traditional Moroccan house)/hotel. Dinner included.

DAY 10 OUARZAZATE - TELOUET - MARRAKECH

After breakfast we will depart to Ait Benhaddou and visit the World Heritage Site. We will continue with a visit to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui. We will have lunch in a local restaurant in Telouet before descending the Tizi n'Tichka to Marrakech. Accommodation in local riad (traditional Moroccan house), with dinner included.

DAY 11 -12 : MARRAKECH SIGHTSEEING

Today we will have a guided tour of Marrakech including a visit to the Menara Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saâdien tombs and the Bahia palace. You can explore the amazing medina and the fascinating Jamaa El Fna square with lively entertainment and lovely Souks. You will have the day to explore Marrakech and next day you can take an optional day tour to Cascade d’Ouzoud. We stay in Marrakech for the night in local riad (traditional Moroccan house)/hotel.

DAY 13: MARRAKECH TO ESSAOUIRA

Our private Morocco tour from Casablanca continues for shopping or relaxing in Marrakech before departing at your convenience to Essaouira. In Essaouira we may visit medina , then port and have fish dinner in local restaurant. We stay here overnight.

DAY 14: ESSAOUIRA - CASABLANCA

Today we transfer you to Casablanca and that will be end of our private Morocco tour from Casablanca.
